The grill & bar at the porterhouse is what separates us from the competition. The style is a classic British grill menu. What makes us different is that we cook all the dishes in our charcoal fuelled Bertha Oven at temperatures reaching 350 C. The charcoal is sourced from the award winning Oxford Charcoal Co.

Primarily we are a Steak house and our search for the perfect British steak will never end. At present we source our meat from the home of British meat - Smithfield Market - the beef is dry aged in house for up to 42 days then hand butchered on a daily basis to give you the freshest cuts.

The classic theme runs through the bar which serves the finest wines, vintage cocktails & handcrafted ales. Whether it's a Negroni to cleanse the pallet before the meal or a bottle of Haut Medoc with peppered undertones to help slice through the sublime steak, the staff at the porterhouse will have the perfect recommendation on all occasions.

Children above 8 are welcome to dine at lunchtime but we do not have a children's menu or children's facilities.
